Bell Canada is renting our property for $10.000 yearly to put up a tower.

If we have direst deposit for this money do we pay taxes on it? Is it better to have the money sent directly to our broker to invest and will we receive a T4 for this rental of our property

Your cell tower lease payments would be added to your income and taxed as such.

I wonder what percentage of landowners deny the renewal?
Are there many instances where a Tower provider is forced to tear down an existing installation and relocate ?
That would be a massive expense.

Seems a bit low for a new installation. Last year of 20 year lease at $4,000 annual, expect renewal to be 14 to 16,000. Located near Orillia Ont.
