Cell tower lease.

My elderly mother signed a lease for to receive $100 up front and ---- every year thereafter. The lease was renewable at the option of the cell company with no further increase. Unfortunately she was blatantly abused and taken advantage of.
She is now deceased. And the property was purchased. Is that lease still enforceable?

Sorry about what happened. Sounds like you have a LEGAL question that is more suited to an attorne, which we are not.

Unfortunately elderly people are frequently taken advantage of and sign leases that completely favor the carrier or tower company. If there is nothing fraudulent in the lease she probably just signed a HORRIBLE deal but there is probably not too much that you can do unless a medical professional can prove she was not in her capacities when the lease was signed etc.

My opinion is that you talk to an attorney. This is why it's so important to seek proper advice before signing one of these agreements. They are complex and always favor the other side.
