comcast running fiber lines to the Mobile tower.

I have a lease with American Tower, 3 carriers: T Mobile, Crickett, Metro PCS. Comcast wants to run fiberoptic lines to The T MOBILE antennas. They said for better reception. . Does this make sense? I was told that Comcast should pay rent because they are doing more than just enhancing T-mobile. Any experience with this?
