Purchase of property with existing tower

Okay, so as far as I can tell the previous owner can retain, payments of previous lease? Once the lease is up the Cell company will have to deal with me the new property owner?
But if the lease is for 25 years for example I have to wait the 25 years out before a new lease can be written. Or am I entitled to have a new lease written due to property owner changes?

Frank if you buy the property, as long as the previous owner did not sell off the cell tower rental steam as an easement to a third party or they did not carve off the the portion of the parcel and retain the tower or give himself an easement for the cell tower lease, then the deal will assign over to you and you start collecting the rent. The lease will remain as-is until the tower company or carrier comes back to you in 10 , 15 , 20 years when it gets closer to expiration and they wish to extend it. that's when you would be able to renegotiate terms. You're basically going to have to live with the current lease until that time.
